I really didn't want to miss the opportunity to go to an event at Parliament

Hope you get it sorted out asap man. In the meantime, as hard as it might be, try to stay off of it as much as possible.

*edit: But make sure you still keep blood flowing in the area. Just don't aggravate it and make it worse, is what I'm saying lol

Yeah definitely doesn't sound like nothing. Try to keep your weight off it if you can, takei anti-inflammatories, and get in to see someone as soon as you can. Maybe not an emergency, but it certainly sounds like the kind of injury that warrants immediate assessment.

It's ok, was just some random thoughts. and nope, the girlfriend won't tag along.

It feels kind of tight today, with a small amount of pain, and I'm limping slightly, but it's vastly improved from yesterday. Trying to keep weight off it and not walk too much.

What does she do for a living? Some skeez working the Gap that won't follow her Dr. guy to a better country and better life sounds best suited for craigslist personals.

Got hurt getting out of bed. Lews how old are you? Sounds like a sprain. My sources say you should do yoga after you recover.

So I've been working with my former business partner again...

In 16 days he wrote from the ground up a complete voice over net system that supports my software. I am blown away. I miss this pace of development, seriously a good kick in the pants.

Is this the same dude you've complained about a whole bunch?

I wish you all the success in the world.

Yes, but when I was complaining he was in the depths of a huge depression over the death of his mother. He dried out, been dry for 9 months now, and he is eager to start working on stuff again with me.

He is one of the most skilled people I've ever worked with and he balances out my capabilities and traits really well (I am way too ADHD to get implementations done, but I can sketch out what needs to be done 20 steps down the road, while he can power through and implement things insanely fast).

Medschool as well, but only second year.

Anyone ever purchase anything from NorthSkull?

I like a lot of their bead necklaces and was considering getting one.

Pricey, so I'm wondering if someone vouches for these.

My ex got a bracelet from there with lots of Swarovski crystals on it. I always thought it looked tacky. Leave the sparkles and gemstones to women, imo.

Which necklace do you like?

tbh, though, I'd feel uncomfortable wearing a necklace. not my style. Way too gaudy, imo.

Much prefer the bracelets.

realllllly like this one

goodwoodnyc.com has some dope stuff, too.

Posted by Intellekshual on Oct-30-2014 23:26:

I like the yellow tiger eye and the Hamsa one (I'd wear that one). The rest is terrible.

Posted by OrangestO on Oct-30-2014 23:36:

I'm just curious why they're so expensive. Wtf.

Holy shit, $155! I was expecting to see 45-55$, maybe.

Posted by Intellekshual on Oct-30-2014 23:37:

Exorbitant prices for sure. Not worth it. You can get a much better deal for the same quality elsewhere. It's just the brand name you're paying for.

Posted by OrangestO on Oct-30-2014 23:40:

Yea, I figured that. They do a lot of celeb stuff to promote.

But I do like Swarovski Crystals. (They make great gifts, btw.)

Like I said GoodWoodNYC has stuff too and it's much cheaper. Just no crystals.

I'm diggin' the general wooden bead style, though.

No disputing that.. if you're a lady.

I think men's jewelry should be as understated and simple as possible.

Get one of these if you're so keen on beads. And it's only $25 from goodwoodnyc:

Yea, for sure. I've never worn any jewelry ever, but I wouldn't mind accessorizing a bit.

It'd be weird af wearing a wedding band.
