Well, I saw Radiohead my first time on acid, so if I survived that I think I can survive a friend singing. I would post a video but I can't seem to make the link work. Oh well.

Is there anything more patriotic than streaking in a football court as you shout the words "America, fuck yeah!"?

I think not. Specially if you're Danish, as it comes to show you've truly embraced American culture.

This is true... and Americans do love blondes...

Well, that's something the history books don't teach.

Thinking about growing out a winter beard... aka... I am sick of trimming my beard and I want a god damn break for a while.

I've considered it, once or twice, but I just can't stand the itching.

Also, I would look like a pedo/rapist

Yea I have been sporting a beard for over 4 years now. I think 5 almost. Growing it out sucked, but it was worth it. Shaved head/bald, its fun to have some hair to play with.

Plus I look like a fucking viking lumberjack warrior so that fits in around here. Especially in a red plaid shirt.

I'M A LUMBERJACK, AND THAT'S OK

Posted by Sushipunk on Oct-08-2012 07:02:

Sorry, don't mind me

I don't do the flannel shirt thing because I'm not a bogan. You don't have bogans there though, so it's all good

Posted by Sushipunk on Oct-08-2012 07:03:

Back to facial hair though, whatever. All I have is a "soul patch". I don't know why they call it that, because I have no soul. I've had it for like 10 years though, and I'm too old to change now.

Posted by Joss Weatherby on Oct-08-2012 07:08:

Well the flannel shirt is often associated with rednecks here... Though at least in Washington/Oregon its associated with the region due to our long history of woodsmen and the lumber industry.

Also I am pretty sure most rednecks don't buy their red flannel shirts at Nordstrom's... lol

I'd do the flannel shirt thing even if there were bogans, rednecks, or chavs where I live. They're so comfy!

I've got nearly a dozen, to be honest

The flannel shirt (referred to as "a flanno" by Australians) is typically reflected by Bogan culture - Not too dis-similar from what you call rednecks. They love cheap beer, V8 cars, and fighting (often over ugly Bogan women, but anything will do, really).

The hipsters wear flannos too, but no one actually cares, because they are hipsters, and are generally useless. At least [some] bogans have a trade job/skill.

Posted by Lira on Oct-08-2012 07:26:

Fun fact: I also enjoy fighting V8 cars after a few beers.

It's weird, malas (the closest we've got to bogans/chavs/rednecks) dress like surfers. Even though we're one kilometre away from the ocean, though it does some more make sense in coastal cities

LOL, in the 90s, we called them "skegs". But I grew up not far from the coast.

A whole one kilometer from the ocean*! Way too far, for that kind of subculture. Ah, Brazil

*I know you made a typo/ommision, Brasilia is quite a bit inland. Just having a laugh

One thousand kms, I mean

Are they cute?

I'd worry if Facebook started posting their phone numbers as well

Posted by Moongoose on Oct-08-2012 23:36:

Interestingly enough i do have the phone number of a good deal of them since i did meet and or deal with some of them at some time or other, im just not a fb friend with them.
