Very scrumptious indeed I think I prefer version 1
lovely sound and every thingmate
Sounds good & clean Storyteller, you've been after those stabs for awhile now huh?
I'll be riding this Synth1 patch out for the rest of my life. Been using it for 10 years now and it still hasn't ever bored me
Going to try and make the alternative mix darker overall, will try and do a few changes there as they are too similar now. The first one has almost everything to work it until its a full track.
Funny you chose a Fine Taste track. I've made a track with one of thos guys ages ago. About 14yrs ago. They persisted where I stopped trying. Now they're one of the best selling artists on Beatport and slowly starting to tour around the world. Really cool
I remember their old tracks, they were quality back then as well. Guess everything happens for a reason(propellerheads)
reposted my track, I had to add some dank memes, testing out some opensource software.

Originally posted by Richard Butler So you can download this one now, I can't be bothered sending to labels My mate mastered this one using all analogue gear so hopefully it will translate ok |

Do u reckon I will need vocals for this one:

I like both versions. Very nice.

Maybe a little bit to cheesy for me. I don't know if vocal would make a benefit here. But i do like "Return to first love".
My newest attempt to make something listenable
I like the part from about 47 seconds in, it grooves well, but the parts before aren't needed I think.
Keep it based around this groovey part IMO. Don't forget to vary your drums a bit otherwise it sounds loopey.
probably the proggiest thing i've done in ages!

Thanks Evo and Richard, you've been very helpful!
I have lowered volume on pluck sound (is it still too loud?, this is pure headphone mix, it's too late now to listen on monitors), and change arrangement a bit. Also added a new part at around 4:00, it sounds awesome to me of course , but i am very subjective first couple of days after i make something, so please tell me how does it sound to you... is it too cheesy?
Didn't have time to sort drums or make eventual bass line.. Thanks again for all your suggestions.

Don't know what it supposed to be. I just like it that way.
Kick on parts with hihats and snare? I didn't notice on headphones that kick is so much weaker on these parts, also my ears were pretty tired from listening...
sounds good here gordan except for that thin sound at 4minute mark, just need a bass, you'll have to tune ur kick a bit more :}
add this bass in that shit son
