I had fun the last hour or so looking through this thread and seeing how crazy some of you guys go in your homes.(As in it takes up everyday living space.) Then i remembered that someone in town here was crazier.

A guy in town got Soundmanshorty (www.systemsbyshorty.com) to mount a beast of a system in a 12 x 12 bedroom. Seriously who the fuck does that in their bedroom (12 x 12!). (Although i would kill my mother and all of yours for that console)

I've been building up the system over years, but the speakers came together over the last few months. They are Altec A7's loaded with 416 altec clones made by GPA. They were in horible shape when i got them. They took alot of sanding and filling before i painted them white. On top is a solid mahogony smith horn that i recently go off ebay. Hanging from the cieling is a tweeter array loaded with JBL 2402's. The processing is BSS, and the amps are older crowns. I use an original urei 1620 and GSA x3000 for the front end of my system.

it looks pretty cool.. though i didn't get the chance to play around with it yet.. maybe tomorrow or something if i have the time!

Man the colorful lights on the Zero4 look awesome as.

i bet you love that little bastard...I think that both those Korg models will be what other companies try and strive for now. Really great pieces of kit.

I know you didn't buy it at Moog Audio, where at?

where did u get urs from?? and I did get it from Moog... im still thinking if i should get the zero8, Moog told me that i have 7 days to exchange mixers if i wanted to though im leaning more towards keeping... are you getting the "hiss" sound, any gripes??

i just wish they made the knobs bigger.. i feel like i need a tweezer to play with this mixer...

Thats odd, did they get the Zero8 at Moog too? Because everyone I know that wants one is on a list waiting for the thing to come in. I got mine from someone in upstate New York that ordered a whole skid. I brought him 5 other customers thats why i paid so little. Really the Zero4 is enough(if all you are looking for is a mixer), do you think you need 8 channels? No hiss sound from me, check to see if all the connections to it are ok.(if not take that mother****** back asap and get them to test it...ive heard Moog are cocksuckers when it comes to returns)

My only gripe is that my ADD hates me for buying it due to having to actually read the instruction manual to be able to understand everything it does (im getting there, but this mixer seems to do everything but the laundry.Can you say pre sets!!). The knobs are just fine, their size will teach you to be precise.

ps: take the mixer off that little stand thing now before i slap you for endangering it.

Yup, they have both , the zero8 and the 4 on display.. everyone's on a waiting list? weird..i didn't know that.. but yet again i've been calling them every week for the past few months asking if they have received them, and i called them again yesterday and told them that i was coming to check it out, so maybe they had me included in the waiting list? i dont know .. yet again, its not like im a special customer or anything, its my first purchase from moog ever.. and a pretty good one too, i gave them deal taht if i paid it full in cash i wouldn't have to pay the taxes, and they agreed!

man you should have advertised your zero8 price before hand, i would definatly have gotten one... i dont think i need 8 channels at the moment but you never know in the future!

Oh no hiss for me, but i've heard most Zero8s had a hiss sound and that Korg are working on a software update for that (Aparently there are alot of issues they are trying to address)

i haven't touched the manual yet, maybe sometimes soon.. btw, does your bpm counter go into slave mode when changing the bpm in ableton (using midi)?

PS: haha, ill change the layout soon, ill put the efx on top of that stand put the mixer on the table.. happy now?

agreed. i usually don't fall for looks, more for functionality, but this mixer is just too damn awesome looking!
