Speaking of teachers, they're currently protesting where I'm at in Mexico.

All the roads are blocked in the state and the public bus service has been suspended, so I'm kind of 'stuck' here for right now.
i just turned 61 the other day and I've never felt younger

You first.
I don't believe you ever leave yours, either.
My mitochondrial family is from Westphalia. I am looking for a singularity, are certain group of individuals, in some way or another, destined to be, destined to do? How much of this is borne out of genetic markers and/or archeological/cultural epochs? Clearly sexual bonding and procreation is by far the most important link.
I have a Lonestar ship that takes me through toric spaces curled up in imaginary time. Lonestar tells me where my family treasure is, from From Klondike to El Dorado all the way to Northumbria.
Things I'll never understand: Every couple of years, a student that had a poor performance throughout the semester will freak out when they find out they flunked. Some are downright hostile when they hear the news.
It's not like they couldn't see it coming
BUT I'M ENTITLED TO A PASSING GRADE!!

Originally posted by Lira Yeah, and they get pretty damn angry when they find out they aren't. One kid even stole the battery charger of my laptop after he failed the previous semester (with another professor), showed up in my class blaming the previous professor, and even though I told him he should not attend my classes, he also failed my semester (who could've seen this coming?!). |

Originally posted by Jon_Snow Not to say it's justified but getting a bad grade can be emotionally traumatizing. I actually remember my 3rd grade teacher writing in red ink "POOR" for my cursive hand writing. It wasn't from a lack of trying because to this very day my hand writing is "poor" although it's hard to tell when I'm typing. |

Eh, typical PhD imo. Can't think of one of my professors or any of my friends with PhDs who didn't/don't love the incessant sound of their own ideas, lol.
