Euro 2012

Anyone else looking forward to this?

I'm looking forward to watching the English struggle to make it out of the group stages

I'm looking forward to watching Cristiano Ronaldo come so close and fail like he always does with Portugal.

I normally like Holland, but this year I want France to take it.

Come so close to what? Finishing the group stage with more than 6 or 7 points??
Dutch or the Germans for me...

ITT:

People who don't know much about football talk about it in an irritating manner.

aka the ITV commentary team.

I have no way of avoiding it, I'm looking forward to it though. I thought there were 2 matches today

Sure!

Looking forward to the game against Germany and also looking forward for french failure all over the place again.

Let's do this!

Group B has the numbers 2, 4, 5 and 9 of the FIFA ranking.. kind of absurd if you ask me. Group of death anyone?

//schezny(sp?) red card

Posted by OrangestO on Jun-08-2012 17:30:

Wow.

Polish goalkeeper gets red card.

We're all even, again.

Replacement keeper saves penalty kick.

Fair card though and he knew it. Last man back and didn't play the ball.

Great save by the new keeper though

Anyone else find it weird seeing black guys, arabs, and turks representing germany? I actually think its pretty cool. Sign of how much the world has changed.

Well, here it is. Even earlier than I thought.

I love how they showed Szczęsny's reaction to the penalty save in the locker room

Tyton played for Roda JC Kerkrade a few years, 10 km from where I life.
PSV Eindhoven now hired him this year, unfortunately for Roda, because they were afraid they would need to pay a lot more after Euro 2012.
Check these and you'll understand why, some of the many awesome saves:

And another penalty stopped for PSV:

Regarding orange, well bad luck must be sold out now, even two times hands wasn't noticed, but that shouldn't even have mattered.

Germany thanked the 4th official for having to search the stupid board with numbers, otherwise Gomez would have been replaced by Klose before the goal.

Spain - Italy will be interesting tonight.

No, not at all, check the Dutch team, has been like that for many years. And Germany also have players with Polish roots like Podolski and Klose.
