I hope not at Beyond. We want a good kick in the pants. Let Gareth play his mashup crap, and let Armin bring the goodness!

would go nuts if armin played "Arganda"

As much as I like a lot of the tunes hes played so far its still very big room style, and not the pure uplfiting he promised earlier

you're right

heatbeat turns on the party!

Communcation remix!

Communication 4?

Posted by malka on Mar-02-2012 01:17:

Why Armin doesnt play proper original mixes from classics anymore?

That kind of reworks are so forgettable

It does sound like Communication "Gaiaed" up. Theres just no way he could better the final Part III version for me.

I was going to say.... this definitely sounds like a new Communication to me as well.

Posted by Coxx on Mar-02-2012 01:18:

Probably because he wants to keep things really fresh in his sets. This isn't something that is just him; almost all DJs do it. How many times have we heard Communication before? Heck, look at the PPK - Resurection remixes or the newer remixes of Xpander. That's just how it is from an industry end man.

Think of it this way: if you ask Rank 1, Sasha, Digweed, or Cosmic Gate to play their classics, what do you suppose the answer will be?

Don't you figure they hear the same versions over and over when they first produce them and when they smash them out at venue after venue?

I can't blame them for doing something fresh. Note though, I never said it was better than their original.

Or Armin could get as bad as ATB.... who has to constantly bombard the crowd with "9PM (Till I Come)" samples in his sets. I'll admit this... I hated it and walked away from the stage he was playing at to move to another stage.
