i saw this at bestbuy weeks ago, and just about gizzed my pants at the picture quality. wish it was in a 50" series, but 42" is still better than the 32" i have right now lol.

i could care less about power consumption. i want a TV that looks great, and has actual BLACK on it. i don't want to see grays, i want pitch black darkness. i want sharp/clarity.

i don't want to see grayed/motion blurring, which i've noticed on all plasmas/lcd's but never on LED's.


granted all the TV's i've seen are from stores, so the cable connection they have on there that's split 55555 times for each TV i'm sure degrades the quality, but i really, REALLY hate seeing motion blurring and gray pixels on my current 32" samsung that's only 60hz and 720p or whatever.

my tube TV Zenith in my bedroom is dying on me. if it was sitll running, i wouldn't even bother w/ a TV but the fact that it's about dead, means i need to replace it.

That TV has worked STRONG since 1987.

also, i want a TV under $1k.
