I had this same stupid problem when I went to Toronto too. So whack. Pissed me off.

Bah, I'm just gonna check my luggage. I just looked at the list of exceptions and I won't have to pay to have it checked. I was mostly paranoid about losing it, only cause I didn't pay for insurance, but my gf who travels all the time assured me it won't happen, especially for a direct flight.

Oh yeah losing luggage on direct flights is really rare. I still hate checking luggage though if I can avoid it.

Yeah agreed. I just needed someone with experience to quell my paranoid fears, lol. She takes trips 4-5 times a year, so yeah.

I'll make sure there's absolutely no room in my car for checked luggage. Carry ons only.
