It's possible that the pain in my ear is just referred dental pain. Probably more likely than something actually being wrong with my ear, as I haven't seen a dentist in years.

Nothing ever fucking changed. I don't think I changed. My circumstances changed a little, things got a bit tougher and I couldn't hack it anymore. Still can't. Can't fucking stand up and face adult life where people expect some reliability and results out of you, expect you to deliver at least some of the time instead of talking a pretty streak that supposedly shows you have so much "potential" to do good things in life.

Here's an example. I always let my gf handle all the reservations for travel, planes, hotels, everything, just because I am fucking scared of screwing it up. Minimal expectations, getting some shit in order so it runs smoothly, and I can't face it.

And now I am blathering on here rather than letting this shit out to her, because she is sick of it. But boards are an inexhaustible resource. I can go on here forever and as long as I never break the rules nobody will shut me up. Well, unless someone decides to ban me out of pure annoyance.

Alcohol fucks with your hearing. I know red wine, for example, gives me really weird tinnitus - probably all of the sulfides or something.

It also fucks with your mood, so fucking cut it out.

I went to the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) today, I played a dart game and won a Stewie doll. Yaaaaay.
I've wanted one for the longest time, so that made me happy.

The rides were so much fun too, I'm still pretty dizzy. This poor guy sat beside me on one of them and the seat cover/belt thingy wouldn't close because his belly was too big, we waited for a good minute or 2 for him to close it before we could go, but to no avail. He was so embarrassed as he walked away. =(

No way. If it had to be one of the two, I would choose to lose hearing over eyesight.

Deaf people can still wander around with few problems (comparatively), and picking up lip reading shouldn't be that hard (I've worked in many loud nightclubs where you can't hear what the person is asking for to drink, so you learn to lip read very quickly).

Blindness though... yeah, fuck that.
