Its a nice addon on atmosphere, i much like that proggy arpy bass. When kick hits you cut the arpy thing in two segments (if i'm right) and it sinks a bit into bass not producing enough groove anymore, something is missing for me, not much though, some slight adjustment would probably work.

its a bit quiet, not such a bad thing, not sure if you normalised it or not?
love the groove, i would be tempted to open the filter on the bass synth, just to bring it forward a little more
would also give the low end a little boost around 80-100, just to add a more little thump

love it though, musically really works which is the hard part

thanks Gordan - i fucking lost the bass patch on the dominion so couldn't rectify that problem, you're right - the lfo was too deep on the filter, thanks for listening anyway

Something was terrible off with melody and drums in the first version . Does it make any sense now?

you can lose those big attacks on the bass as dont come through in the mix and can save you some headroom

Yeah, it's not normalized, I tend to be lazy and forget that

@Gordan, I like the bass, on the arp there seems to some kind of distortion that's a bit ugly sounding and the stereo effect on it is a bit over the top.

I've cleaned up arp a bit, and made bass more mszish i guess

getting there! the mix sounds a bit strained now to my ears, possibly the bass is taking up too much room, i would make sure to mono the very low parts of it, probably around 200hz

also im not sure why you change the pattern of the bass notes later on as i kinda lose where the track is going then, just personal preference

Regarding bass pattern change, i'm not sure at which one you think. Please give me some timepoint where change starts.

Arp is a Massive preset called Butterfly Stance. I don't know if it has another origin.

I wasnt sure about that either, it's a bit cheap, i'll cut it out.

I've updated previous post with new version. Bassline is a bit striped in lows, and arp is a bit more prominent. Also cut out that bass pattern change.

0:45 mark when the percussion hits. That floor on the floor sample has a background white noise going with the ride cymbal. It is overtaking the entire track.
Imho if you are going for that style of a track, you should build the percussion to a point where you are getting all that atmosphere. Start with just a kick and let it ride for 8-16 measures, then add a subtle high hat and keep adding and looping elements into it.
The saw wave stab you are using for your Lead is to prominent and although a nice use of the filter cutoffs the dry tone at the beginning really absorbs any atmosphere you have.
My suggestion is to go back in and work with that Arp..it is very dynamic. I'm willing to say if you treat that ala Eric Prydz and just put a really solid percussion track behind it that it would power itself.

Hey, thank you for listening and for comments! Will try to play more with just the arp.
