None of the sounds in my track are even that high pitched... Nothing even remotely compares to Skrillex's Ruffneck (Full Flex... And others), or stuff by Brown & Gammon, Doctor P, AFK...

Grab your glowstix, it's the 90s again!

Just needs some cheesy vocals.

During my techno phase last yr this was the kinda feel I went for with lots of dirty background ambience. Nice under the arches club feel. Like your beats a lot - is the main kick loop your own?

tempo is high enough to gove it a dubstep drop

Would like to hear the 1st wip finished, sounds promising, as for 2nd don't know what to say beside that it sounds well mixed, not a fan of the genre xD

My wip again, hope the kick fits better now with the rest the track :s

Still working on finding/making some sound FX for more flavor. (it's so haaaard finding good FX)

Everything mostly dialed in to just past the main build.

Kinda reminds me of the hook from Coast to Coast - Home

Oddly enough, it also reminds me of Scot Project - C1 hook to

This one is quite cool. Deep dark cave style techno.

Very generic progression and trance sound. Nice mood and vibe though. Maybe spend a bit more time on tightening that mix and you can easily put in some oldschool trance mix .

I got this one, spent a bit of time on it this morning. Quite generic and can go either way. Some suggestions would be appreciated . The picture in there is to annoy one of my friends .

For some reason I feel like I should stick to the base and keep it simple with maybe some vocal.

The bassline has yet another nostalgic feel, like a Robin S (Show Me Love). However, it feels a little flat.
The stabs seem a little out of place as well, just my opinion

Sounds alright when the pads come in and fills it out a bit more. Yeah stick with what you have and add a vocal if possible.

I think you need to make that bass sound more percussive for it to work.

Posted by Richard Butler on Apr-02-2014 14:31:

Storyteller I really dig it, it just flows and speaks for itself. Maybe that key perc sound a tad quieter.

Not much to go on. Sound good from a sound design stand point to me. But it is kinda generic so far.

I submitted this to a Vicious Recordings remix competition. https://wavo.me/pulses/102637460298...iwjs9voEVAM&v=1

The only thing I used from the original was the vocals. Appreciate any feedback.

Oof, I love that original track (quickly downloaded the stems just now to remove the forced likes and application access right afterwards). Although I don't think it is quite what they're looking for in the remix competition the track sounds okay. At around the 3:50 mark I do expect more of a climax than I hear now, maybe build some more anticipation and tension there before the climax?

Mixwise I feel the energy that is in the music is absent in the beats. Overall quite well mixed but it just needs more punch in my opinion.

Overall, I see where your going on this track. I actually dig the groove as it is constant and moving (for the most part).
There are certain areas of the arrangement that stick out in the mix a bit to much imo , but for the most part the mix is solid. There is a slight muddiness to the mix but that could very well be remedied or maybe its your artistic imprint. Either way, it has alot of clean elements.
Nice Work !!

Hi there,

This is a short preview for the latest track I was working on. It's kind of an uplifting/tech/acid stuff.

Any comments will be appreciated

cheers!
