Cheers mate

With the green glue, the plasterboard has to be mounted on another plasterboard or equally flat layer doesn't it? Ive found some other accousyic performance, high density plasterboard (couldn't get hold of the one you mentioned). Plan is to mount them on a stud wall with rwa45 rockwall 100 mm insulation

Recently bought some gear again after having sold everything off:

The keyboard on the floor is a Yamaha DX-21, and in the suitcase on the right is a Roland SH-1, both of which I'm trying to sell.

stud wall and rockwall rw45 100 mm

Finished with Gtech DB plasterboard

Floor has been a massive job! took up about 2.5 tonne of concrete. Fresh layer of concrete, DPM, layer of screed, cellotex insulation, 2nd DPM, 2 layers of damp proof chipboard flooring

Ive just decided to put a vocal booth in where the storage was going to be (haven't told the missus yet though)

Buying an LED screen for HDMI instead of thunderbolt has really helped me, no interference at all when attached to the same buss.

Before everything got plugged in:

Might have to rethink acoustic panels placement - shit doesn't sound that great...

You're going to destroy your neck with your screens set up like that.

Purchasing that desk was a mistake. But I'm kind of stuck with it. I wanted to have a custom desk built - might do that.

I do have a chair high, but you're right, my neck is not happy.

That sure is alot of gear anythin, I will buy some vintage synths that were emulated as software after so I have a somewhat feel of what I'm buying

Nothing special but it works for my needs.

As it says in my

<=== "Location"

having compared real deal to Jupiter 8v from Arturia, I can tell you it's not the same. Not close, except ui. I like Asturias version of jp8, but it's an instrument that stands on its own. If it was skinned differently, you wouldn't mistake it's sounds for jp8.

Close, but not quite.

The only emulation of Elka that's close is Virus TI2. I like Elka for sentimental reasons, but the kind of money I can get for it - I can start a business. So, you might see it's obscenely overpriced ass on eBay soon. I haven't found $9k+ worth of reasons to keep it, except sentimentality

Lastly - I work mostly ITB, hardware will soon go to the auction. I'm keeping 3-4 pieces, selling off everything else.
