Kindred Spirits debut on Green Martian with this stunning two tracker "Smooth Tricks EP".

The title track, "Smooth Tricks" gets us on the move with a nice melodic intro, the drum arrangement soon follows and builds to the bassline which really sets this tune on fire. The bassline brings the progressive nature of this track to the fore with a wonderful array of melodies adding contrast. The break is a climactic setting filled with superb pads creating a surreal atmosphere before settling in to a super sweet melodic sequence. Very fresh sound here that is going to be an asset in any DJ box!

"Interlacing Textures" sticks with the prog house groove, lots of percussions combine very well and the kicks will have any ass shaking in no time. A very organic synth grabs your attention early on with a very nice melody adding a whole new texture. This track continues to build and build with high pitched gated strings bringing in a trance element, another very welcomed fresh sound here, one to watch.

Opvallende terugkeer van oude rotten het afgelopen jaar, met ook nieuw werk van onder meer Phi-Phi, Quadran, Zolex en het zou ook terug kriebelen bij YDR

Die remix van 'In balance' wordt de eerste plaat in mijn volgende set (ik moet eerst nog eens shoppen)

Persona remix is weliswaar inderdaad beter.
Clinique is echt sterk bezig, de ene zalige release na de andere. Zie ook die van Yuriy From Russia en Robert R. Hardy

Toen ik de tracklist zag, was deze plaat één van de redenen dat ik meteen Flight 105 heb opgezet

Inderdaad.. Heb ze eigenlijk onbewust gesupport. Is pas wanneer ik de downloads van de laatste weken herbekijk dat ik zie dat er redelijk wat platen van Clinique tussenzaten. Inderdaad, ferme quality momenteel.
