More or less done, now could u tell me if I should re-do the vocals, or have less of them in here?

Sorry cant embed SC just now. Shortly I will be able to once I'm done creating a new alter-ego for all my new tracks.

Oh and another vocal track for your deliberation, any crits welcome and very much needed lol

More chilled than the track above I posted

if you had a gangnam style parody video, you'd be a billionaire.

Richard,

IMHO on this particular track, the Vox cut does not work, unlike some of your others. And personally, I do not think it is needed any way.
On the other side, I really really like this and as it seems we all are taking a retro feel in our music as of late, it is very appropriate and catchy. I really like the movement in your composition and really great arrangement tones.
I for sure want to see this fully developed and possibly a new favorite from you.
If there was anything that I could critique well there was one area.
Curious. Is this track in mono? It seems narrow in the mix.

It is a bit imo, but has nice chords and progression, it's worth to play more with this

Posted by gordan100 on Jun-19-2018 15:15:

@Richard - was listening both of your tracks few days ago, didn't comment anything cause tbh didn't really like neither. I've heard crazy nice and creative tracks from you but these are not among them imo

Posted by gordan100 on Jun-27-2018 00:33:

Any good?

Posted by TranceLover007 on Jun-27-2018 01:04:

What happened man - a jazzy vibe you are working on lol - net bad at all, just need more theme development, maybe a piano or synth going with some catchy melody and at least one break with chords changes to add some variation and attractiveness

Also noted that your levels are more set and mixing is improved quite a bit.

Here is my another chillout WIP

Thanks Darek, it wasn't intentional jazzy, it just happened that way

This wip of yours is nice and sounds good, but tbh nothing memorable imho, i liked some of your prev chill tracks more than this one.

theres something about that slap bass that is not sitting well for me, think something to do with the pitch(maybe tuned too flat?), but nice work.

i've been wrestling this wip for a while, not making much progress maybe slowly inching forward. the mix is off, not sure how im going to sequence it or keep it.

Thanks Mac for taking your time and listen to my WIP - as far as this "slap" bass line statement, I will have to check it out because there is two of those basses working together (one is flat one) and the balance may be shifted a bit out of proportion, thanks

Going back to your WIP - how wide is your bass, did you freq shift some of those freq?

Cheers,

Darek

Appreciate your comment man - any suggestion what memorable element/s would you like to hear in this WIP?

Cheers,

Darek

I don't know Darek, it sounds nice and everything but it's like i already heard dozens of tracks like that

Here's an idea (for a track, not saying there are memorable elements in it)

I enjoyed the synths and sounds all but feel the drums aren't Human enough, and they sound a bit lumpy and basic. You get some great synth pluks.

Thanks, will try. I'm using fl reverb 2, comes with fl studio.

It seems to quiet. Kick is to powerful? I like the idea, it gets a bit samey after while for me, maybe needs some cutting or more work on the arrangement.

This may be great track man but your dynamics and sound level is not letting this production shine the most - don't know if this will help Richard.
