I wish they would give it a fkn rest already. Like srsly! The guy get's paid tons to play golf and win and he does that perfectly so far, they don't pay him to be a 'Perfect Human Being'. wtf. I could care less if he fathered 1000 kids, or banged as many chicks as Wilt Chamberlain.

I think it's a bit much in an attempt to win back the audience by having his dad 'scold him' in a commercial, in hopes that they will 'forgive him' for his transgressions. lol fkn lame.

I will agree he gets paid big money to play golf and win but he also gets paid big money for being a Public Image for Nike...so yeah they want him to be a perfect human being.

Tom Watson leading the Masters. Always love to see this. Didn't Tom come close to winning a major recently?

He lost the British Open in a playoff....he should have won that tournament...he lost it on the 72nd hole due to nerves I am sure.

To lead the Masters at age 60 is just amazing...even if its only for a short time.

That's right. I felt so bad for him missing that putt. To come that close to winning 'his tournament' would have been remarkable.

Def would have been remarkable. I felt a dagger go in my heart when he missed that putt. As Jack's interview said today, Tom could do it. Amazing. The Master's site is sooooo good wow. I don't even need to watch the Golf Channel highlight reel cuz I've seen ever shot now. My guess with Watson however is that he will likely make the cut or just miss it. If he does play the weekend, he will not be able to be in contention. The course is simply too long and walking the course itself would tire anyone.

Wow. Tom Watson, boogey free round at -5. Incredible.

I agree...the course has a lot of rolls to it and you don't get a true feel for it even on TV. If he can put together two good rounds and make the weekend I think that would be accomplishment enough.

unreal round.. wow

Posted by ChemEnhanced on Apr-08-2010 18:23:

So I'm listening to Fan590 and they interrupt programming so we can HEAR Tiger's tee shot. If that isn't bad enough, they proceed to have someone come on and analyze the swing. GIVE ME A HUGE FUCKIN BREAK.....this is the reason why I can't stand Tiger and the media's love for him.

+1

Couples has always been a favourite of mine. Pure class and one of the nicest swings on tour.

So many story lines after round one. Today should be good.

Sandy Lyle shoots a -3 yesterday and today he is +10 after 9 holes

yup. You get five years exemption I believe. I'm just saying not that it was necessarily a fluke, but other players who can play competitively at the Masters and cannot due to someone winning a major kinda sucks. Usually the case here where there are such a broad range of scores

Tiger is raping the par 5s holy
