any criticisms? what is missing? (apart from drums)

This is actually sounding really, really nice. I really like it. Add some hats and other perc. some breaks and some filtering of the sytnh part and weaving it in and out, and you have yourself a fine track right there.

I'd say that track is pretty perfect Alpha, nice work.

Revision 2.5: its still has incoherent transitions still debating where to take it from here; maybe scrap the intro.

Thanks, dude. Wasn't sure about structure and a few other things, doing it live again, but I guess I'll leave it and move on.

Revision 2: its still incoherent, doesnt make sense and has no flow. Gonna rest on this one for a bit.

As I mentioned before, I still like the beginning and now that you developed it a bit more, I like it even more. It's relatively simple, but has a nice flow...although I'm still not sure about the synth that comes in after 1:30 or so. It may work, but perhaps introduce it in a better way? Not sure. If you're feeling stuck, resting on it may not be a bad idea, or just finish it.

I'd say that's nearly finished, just add an intro and it's good to go. Pretty solid - nothing fancy, but groovy and decent and flows much better.

Feel like this needs work, but not sure it's worth redoing. Maybe better to just leave as is?

Thanks im probably gonna dump it, I see the errors, its too washed out in general. Something that would save it is some mono contrast dry shit, but I dont think It will get there. New project time.

And honestly, cant give you any feedback on your music so I wont even try.

I hear you. I went for a more dj friendly, happy 90's vibe with this one, think I want to leave as is:

this might be my favorite track of yours that you ever done, reminds me of prog trance from the mid 00's

yeah just seems like an idea right now, some structure might do it good though, as far as just an intro maybe lead up to that 303 thing.

the flow is good though, it has an evolving thing going on.

^ the buildup part at 55 seconds on is pretty busy, should probably simplify that somehow.

New wip, still trying to get in form.

the lower mids sound like they are clipping a little, i would employ a cut somewhere from 200-800 on the mixes or on the channels with this content to see if it clears up the mix a little
nice vibe tho

Thanks, yeah I guess I'll leave it as I've already moved on. Hopefully it's something that can be mixed in, if someone ever decides to play it.

Everyone should make what they like. I want to do other styles too, but I always end up making techno-ish stuff...

Im done with it
