That conclusion to the "mystery" made me chuckle.

No more nasty than most chemical reactions being done to foodstuffs.
You know how they make aspartame for your diet soda?
They feed petroleum and gas to a gene-modified E.Coli strain, which then in turn poops out something that's only a couple chemical washes away from being aspartame. Yay.

I said it the first time I tried a Coke Zero. This tastes like shit. Turns out I was right.

Aspartme is pretty damaging stuff. It's been implicated in causing MS before. It also tends to give me a headache... which is something I'd associate with some kind've nasty preservative and not a "completely safe sugar alternative". I'm glad a lot of products have moved onto stevia. That stuff tastes so much better and is a lot safer. There's some seriously tastey 10 calorie stevia mineral water I've been drinking a fair bit of lately.

Yeah, it's pretty nasty. It doesnt really give me headaches as much as I just feel really, really sick, because of all the insulin being pumped out to tackle the sugar that never comes.
Stevia is ait, but tastes a little licoricy imo. I don't mind sugar at all really, so I don't wye from it. I don't think I could have maintained calorie intake and weight if I was to remove sugar from my diet. I'll probably gonna need new teeth by 50 though haha.

I think this may well be the most useful infographic I'll ever find:

Posted by Guest on Jan-23-2014 16:54:

That's definitely going in my "important" folder. I'm thinking of printing it and bringing it with me when looking for new whiskey's to try lol

I want to try Speyburn

Coincidentally, that's the one I bought a week ago. I really like it and although I'm far from being a connaisseur, I can highly recommend it.

Posted by Psyshell on Feb-04-2014 15:36:

Has anyone ever had a dream where you're in your house and then about 6 hooded figures bash in your door and window and come at you with knives? Cos I did last night, and then I was like "oh shit these guys are tank" who then proceeded to stab me repeatedly which was quite painful. After a little bit I realised that 5 of them were actually my ex gf's and they were headed by a girl about 1-2 years younger who wanted to get back at me for all the damage I'd caused in those girls lives. Tell me TA; what could it mean?

Posted by Frenkieee on Feb-04-2014 16:57:

It means that System-J is gonna go on a rant on how utterly uninteresting other people's dreams are

Posted by Psyshell on Feb-04-2014 17:21:

I'd be interested to see if he's had any interesting dreams lately actually. Same goes for anyone I guess.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Feb-04-2014 17:38:

I thought it was Domesticated who ranted about people sharing their dreams? No matter, they're right: even your most captivating and bizarre dreams are a sequence of firings completely irrelevant to anyone at all, and apart from the rare conversation where they might be of some topical significance, nobody really cares about them if they're not theirs. The only reason people share them so wantonly is because most people want to share their own visions; you know, like the majority of conversation, only incorrigibly egocentric.

Posted by Sushipunk on Feb-04-2014 21:42:

No, you guys are thinking of PKC

no it isn't. it's arguably the most-studied additive in the history of stupidity, and nothing has ever been found to substantiate the ignorance people like you come out with.

Posted by Lews on Feb-05-2014 06:22:

I find dreams interesting because they're so bizarre and mind-blowing, and often amusing. But only from people I care about. And on a rare basis.

Posted by Psyshell on Feb-05-2014 12:45:

Shrug, I figured it'd either be hit or miss. Concidering some of the bullshit people find to be thread worthy it's hardly notable.

Maybe not causation, but there's definitely a correlation.

You old, grumpy fuck.

Posted by SaulTek on Feb-05-2014 14:36:

The more OrangestO and Psyshell post, the shittier this forum feels. Maybe not causation, but there's definitely a correlation.

Wait, did I get that backwards? Fuck, these things are tricky. What do you think?

Posted by Psyshell on Feb-05-2014 15:26:

That's good cos I feast on alt tears.
