The Hip Hop Thread

Although I risk getting lynched for posting this here, what are some of your favourite hip hop tracks, new and old?

Also, what are some of your favourite sources for newer, underground stuff? I've been on a real hip hop tip recently, but only know the old stuff.

You'll be happy to know I am more than half way through the process of uploading my hip-hop collection into iTunes.....about 500 cd's, mainly from 1992-1996 (aka - the best era of the genre hands down.)

Already starting to plan out a few mixes

Here's one I just dug up for the first time - 15 years later.

Another one (from Rexdale)

Ghetto Concept - EZ On The Motion

And downright classics....

and here are a few freestyles....

I still love Hip Hop. I'm def. more familiar with older stuff as well though...

Some fav.'s.

This is a newer one that I love.....mmmm bass. I love Ludacris. He's the best part of this track. Well... him, and the bassline.

after techno, rap has got to be my favorite style )), too bad i dont listen much to english rap due to having hard time understanding sometimes, but I can for sure say that Russian rap rocks ) there is this group of 2 Russian immigrants from New York called Konstanta - it is like my favorite music across all genres ))), fucking amazing )
