lol why not compare soups. we all wanna be internationals don't we?

might as well take a leaf out of their book.

Posted by Fledz on May-02-2007 04:15:

Let's get one thing straight. Massive internationals are there mainly for their productions, NOT their DJing.

Rare is the superstar who doesn't have big releases (Eddie being the only one who springs to mind).

You can be the best mixer on the planet and rave about how awesome your mixes are and how you do everything live but it's still probably not going to get you anywhere.

i did an anthem mix for my sister, and fuck me if it wasn't the worst bedroom mixing id done in a while. perhaps i should use ableton

beatmatching is for fags.

not all of us want to be internationals...many of us do it for the fun and enjoyment!

and adding to what Fledz said, not even the local guys that make mad choonage are massive internationals...

Lol fair enough mate but im pretty sure most ppl would rather be touring around the world and being renowned as an industry leader then being a local. Doesn’t mean that we don’t do it for fun and enjoyment too because that’s how it all starts. I personally wanna get somewhere but that doesn’t mean I will. However I do take notice of what internationals are doing because they are internationals for a reason – whatever reason that may be.

You can still do something for the fun and enjoyment whilst taking notice of how things are done at the top end of town. I don't see how they're mutually exclusive.

nick and i are actually putting together a 3 dics promo as we speak so maybe judge us on that if ya like.

luke fair and hernan emailed me back saying they like the mix and they can see where music is headed in the next 6 months. luke was even talking about this at dinner last tuesday so i think i'd probably take their comments into a bit more consideration then others. BUT all feedback is welcomed!

i see what your saying soups, i prefer to mix live too but this is not a promo for us!!! its for my night!

have you had to buy a new beanie yet?

Don't get me wrong i pay attention to what the big guns are doing, but personally i think it is better to do you own thing rather than just following the pack....

It would be a awesome to have the opportunity to tour the world, but there has to be a good reason for overseas promoters to book you! And that only comes with mad choons, and good promo

booka huh?
i'd still say the same thing in 6 months. it's not that its slow or anything, i like slow deep proggy stuff, it just sounds crap and cheap to me hehe.
