i think its just the kick sample itself rather than whats around it

I agree with evo.. The track is mixed very well and sounds good but the whole low end is missing. The kick and even the bass is making no impact at all.

back to some techno, this is more of a full-on track as opposed to some of the more stripped down stuff ive been doing this past couple of weeks

I hardly concentrated on the mix down, however I changed the kick, added new pads, side chained the baseline, and this isn't a best play back in every system thread. I guess you really care about every nuance in your rendering. This is TA, please LOL, not the TA label submission thread.

Not my style (Industrial-Techno) but you got me going man so it is a good sign lol - like all of those Industrial FX across your track with cool blend of melody and energy

Ok I will try and re do bass and kick from scratch, I think I get to caught up trying to get zero low end distortion on basic pc speakers. Also listening back the bass is a bit boring in every way.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll redo and post up, see if I can satisfy the bass God.

Another great vibe from you - I was posting techno a while and really miss it! Still making some in fact but not posting it up.

You have it spot on here mate, would go nutz to this.

A fine dance track imo. Like the way you change the bass notes down slightly earlier than one would typically expect - this adds an interest as it makes you want to try and guess where they go on the next cycle round.

Now SC has stalled 2.50 in, damn.

It didn't stall, there simply isn't any SC. I never sidechain.

Anyway, I basically built this in around 45 min. last night and didn't check the mix at all, directly uploaded to soundcloud and went to sleep.
This was an 8 bars loop that I found on my old hd, I completely forgot this thing existed. I hate having unfinished projects.

Hope for more opinions.

Nice sounding track, very old school reminds me a lot Veracocha. Mix sounds good.

The part at 0:55 - 1:04 is weird, the melody and bassline don't really connect.
