does anyone know how to embed at hearthis?

Very vibey and atmospheric. Loving that arp. And the string overtone adds a very nice touch.

Your question for hearthis, what were you needing? to embed here? If that is the case, goto the song you wish at hearthis to share, click below the song box Share>Embed(right top)>Copy code and paste here

both main sounds are really wide, wondering if you narrowed the pad slightly it might sound better? but yeah, cool stuff here!

Now, it's REALLY retro =OP

Production, as always, tops

Some familiar tones that have always sounded nice with trance and you gel them beautifully.
The main lead..lol however. Not sure I am vibing on that. Personal opinion solely.
For me it would appear to be the driver in this song. I does have variation but to my ears made me focus more on it being the lead. I am probably focusing more on tonality that the actual progression however...it stood out. Although the use of it during the 3:35 mark sounded very cool with that filter opening. I'm also wondering if some atmosphere in that time period wouldn't hurt. Seemed "lonely" for lack of a better word, unless of course this was a creative decision.

Overall..I found myself head bobbing through the entire 7 minutes..lol always a good sign!

I enjoyed this one, only crit would be I would personally prefer a bass played with a bit more energy to it

This is lovely, a bit bright in the highs and in hear bit of distortion too.
But the vibe and atmosphere are great.

Thnx this really helps me.
I've got the pieces of the puzzle there, but the puzzle doesn't fit yet.
Drums are done
Bassline happy
I like the ethnic roland lead
I like the plucky piano part but it's a bit to fast, so gong to mouse eights there I think.
I do like the rest melodic and soundwise, but it's too much
I need to weed things down and mix and match further carving out what works.

I hate this stage

But it's a good problem to have =OP
suggestion : play your track (at the meat or at a point where everything is playing) with percussion and bass only, loop 8 bars. Slowly build/add volume with your higher tones, starting with the oddest tone you have or the most crisp higher frequency tone. Repeat with the rest of your tones recommending you leave any string or pad work till the end,if at all.
Your ears will tell you ( and here I am offering suggestions to a Mastering Engineer )

Is this the one you were offering for a remix? Because I've got several ideas already.

This will be a full vocal track about Brexit politics - very weird subject matter for a dance track, but it will be done

So is the drop ok - as over I went mad, having promised myself to stick with just one or two synth layers, I just cannot do it

Oh and I finished this and a label wants it but honestly I don't like it much so I was thinking not to bother signing it

Youtube destroyed the sound some

The soundcloud one sounds a tad oldschool trancey from the getgo but the vibe is nice. Wow that shift I did not anticipate - cool effect! After that it almost goes into Lasgo mode or something. Oldschool clubtrance. Vocals could stand out a bit more imo, I'm not completely getting what is said, they do feel very much in place. Hope this helps sir.

Also hope you had a nice holiday

The mixing is very weird, it makes the whole thing sound messy and muffled.

here something I've been messing with

Posted by Constantin on Oct-21-2016 21:36:

Something ain't right with that kick. Maybe is to boxy for that bass.

I tend to agree with Constantin. Take out that higher click at the beginning of that kick and use the tail. Sounds like it has enough sub in it. But for this groove you need something flatter imo

Posted by soulstar606 on Oct-22-2016 11:07:

the bassline kind of dissapears..the mixing of the percussion is good, sounds clean, but its too robotic

Posted by evo8 on Oct-22-2016 22:48:

not sure on this one, ill listen tomorrow with fresh ears to see if its worth finishing

Tbh, this track seems , how can I say this...to simple for you?
It just seems to lack any kind of groove. And what is with you guys recently going all retro with these rolling bass lines..lol =OP
