Originally posted by alanzo I did a thing, I think the intro for a JP-8000 demo. All the synths are JP-8000. This is the first mix where I attempted to tune the percussion to the root of the song, D#. |

Originally posted by Richard Butler I like it apart from the snare which is a bit lumpy I had to do a Russia themed track due to the world cup. What label for this anyone? |
I should be able to bump up my sound design once I upgrade my listening space which will be by Christmas. Just pumping out ideas for now, lots of bad ones but this one seems listenable.
and another idea, pretty sure this bass is off.
A little bit of synthwave?

You're welcome.
I so want to learn how to make synth wave, I only know trance, prog breaks.
I will take this offer right before summer ends, a course from my 2nd fav duo, the Midnight.

It's an idea

Originally posted by SynthNinja Thank you..maybe I should go back to doing -8 on all kicks, on this one I tried -6 on the master kick..hmm idk... This is obviously wicked mate..it has a theme and somewhat well mixed only one thing gave it away imo was the open hi hat the end, maybe a modern one would do with some shorter tail? Try it out or keep the one you have, up to you mate... all in all keep it up. |

Originally posted by SynthNinja Here's my contribute, 3 Mids. baselines to get some groove on, it goes system1, idxi then back to system 1 then to Zebra which ima change since me hears a lot of distortion. I still need to put the Vox in so bare with me, next clip will be the crescendo. Oh and the bass drum might sound unnatural which is because I made it sonic academy kick 2 to get the 90's bounce to it. |

Originally posted by DJ RANN This is actually a really nicely produced start of a track. I love this type of shit. I'd pull back on the kick though too; don't pay attention to numbers, they're meaningless. Just do it by ear so it doesn't cloud the mid freq you have going on there. |

This is an odd one for me but I keep working on it.
*2:26 and beyond is just experimental composition, not sure if it is going anywhere which is stumping me the most.
Could use some advice on this as I am not sure to scrap it or keep working it (and advice with)

Originally posted by SynthNinja I'm liking this, the idea is really good but needs more work, it does sound close to an original concept thats been done before which is some what pleasing nonetheless. |

Originally posted by SynthNinja Now you got yourself an original, way to go. I couldn't find anything I didn't like this time. Everything flowed smoothly. |
