-I HATE LIVING IN A HOST FAMILY!
-I HATE LIVING IN A SMALL TOWN/IN THE COUNTRY
-I HATE ALL THE RULES CANADA HAS
-I HATE HOW YOU ARE NOT TREATED WITH RESPECT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY OLD

just had to get the hate out of me

I woke up this morning with four thoughts in my mind:

-I'm happy with not living in a host family
-I'm thankful for all the things I can do in this big city
-I like the lack of rules around here
-I'm fine by old people not getting any respect here

Thought I'd share them with you all

I want to confess.

The other night I took this girl to my appartment and decided to have ISOS3 play in the background. When things were going the right direction she sudenly asked "so you like dance, eh?". Now being all horny and not wanting to waste any more time I simply nodded instead of delivering a carefuly planned out lecture about the nuances and differences between specific genres in EDM. I had the chance to musically educate a stranger and let sexual desire defeat my musical ideologies.

Well, if my host family had sheeps i would be forever happy out here, but thats not the case, they have pigs Although pigs can apperntly have 30 min orgasms (so who know what good things they can do?), but they simply arent attractive enough imo.

Swedish girls > NYC girls
Swedish girls > Dansish girls also for that matter

Comming to nyc this summer again btw, what clubs can you recomend? Im 19 tho, will that make it hard to get into good places there?

And to add some more semi random, when you'r angry/sad, the best thing to do is to put on your (good) headphones, put on a good trancetune, and dance around in the room always makes me happy. hehe!

Can't disagree with you there. Except I've never seen a Dansish girl. But unless Dansish is some province in Italy, then Swedish girls must be more beautiful.

Hmm, it really depends on your kind of music. I've found that the smaller clubs attract the DJs I like best (Beyer, Carola, Lekebusch) and the most open-minded insane crowds. These are usually 18+, whereas the bigger clubs (with Crobar as the main example) sometimes is 21+. Of the big ones, I can only comment on Crobar (but am going to hear Picotto at Avalon tonight ): It's a very large club reminiscent of larger London clubs and Ibiza clubs. I guess that it would hold a couple of thousands of guests. The sound system is terrible, the guest-list people are incompetent liars, and 90% of the crowd goes there for other reasons than the music (to be seen, score, etc.), but Crobar does succeed in getting good big name DJs, and their prices are fair, I think. They mostly have laid back progressive DJs (Kleinenberg, Sasha). As I prefer to listen to stuff like that at home, and have my beats hard, loopy and electronic when I go out, I tend to go elsewhere.
Best advice I can give, is to check out the "Upcoming parties"-thread in the NYC subforum. When are you going to be here? Why?

Italian girls are not that good looking imo! Some are, but the great majority is not!

Ya i will check out the new york forum before i go there! I just wanted to have a general idea! Im going there around the 10th of july, isnt really decided yet, but around then. And why? Cause its an awesome city and because my family is comming there anyway, have fun picotto =)

Don't tell me: You're a "blondes"-guy, right? Personally, I prefer passionate brunettes. My experience with Swedish girls is that they are cold as dead seals in the winter - same with most of the beautiful blondes in Denmark. Latino girls are much more vivid, I think.

Nah, i dont really have any preference in haircolour, i think different girls fit different in different colours, but i guess if i were to choose one it would be brunettes too.

I wouldnt really compare the girls with dead seals, but yeah true that the girls in the winter are more boring than in the summers, but I think that is true in every place that actually has a winter! And i dont think there is a difference between blondes and other haircolours? At least I havent noticed any such thing! and they are all more loosened up when they get drunk too, which they do all the time.. haha.. so its not really a problem

Biggest difference tho i think between winter and summer when it comes to girls, is that they look sooooo much more beutiful when its summer! Blondies or Brunetts or whatever, they all do!

Btw. When I said that "Swedish girls were as cold as dead seals in the winter", it was supposed to be understood as "SGs are as cold as " and not "in the winter, SGs are as cold as DSs". But yes, irrelevance aside, most girls are more vivid in the summer. Goes for guys as well, I think.

Yes, that is probably a big part of it, but not entirly! I think it's also because they are more tanned, and something with the lightening too! and they actually get out too!

Oh i see, sounds like fun Niagra falls is cool, but not really *that* cool imo!

Which makes me to think about, what internationally famous things have you all been to and became so dissapointed that it wasnt more?

-Big Ben, A small clock tower, really nothing special at all!
-Leaning tower in Pisa, looks weird, but for example the cathedral next to it was so much more massive
-Niagra Falls, they are massive but not really that high, and all the skyscrapers and stuff around kinda takes away the natural feeling
-Golden Gate Bridge, not really less than i imagined, but i dont get why its so famous, its really just one of many beutiful bridges

Those i could think of right now, so, list yours, sure there are many more!

I remember the little mermaid in Copenhagen was a major disappointment,i dont know what i expected,but it was a disappointment nonetheless.....but Copenhagen is a nice city,i really like it.

The first time i went to Paris i was very impressed,didnt like the parisians but nice city.

I was in Berlin the year before the wall came down(im 36 btw)and went to the east side of the city,through checkpoint charlie....it was one of the weirdist travel experiences i have had....there were shops with nothing to buy,because everything (practically) was rationed and we didnt have the coupons....we had to buy a certain amount of east german currency to get a day visa,and we reallly struggled to spend the money,because it was useless back in west berlin...food and beer,lots and lots of beer and we came back to the checkpoint drunk and gave the guards the money we had left....but it was a very strange city,but fantastic a year later to see people smashing down the wall.

Also travelled througout Europe another time with a friend on motorbikes,and this was probably my best travel experience ever.
