Users whose musical taste you respect
Ian
Petran
I'd have to say nefardec.
Although I'm by no means a Deep House enthusiast, his track selections and recommendations are nothing short of classy (and that's a word I rarely use in regards to other people's musical tastes).
mattsanity
AustralianGQ
BoRe
these guys seriously know their shit
I don't really follow what anyone else listens to apart from the select few but I don't think name dropping is particularily cool.

(edit - i suppose the guy above me too)
That one guy that likes Airdrawndagger.

Mr. Mystery
Mr. Jolivebingles
S3nate
Plenty of people here who like goa trance... but not other stuff.
Everybody.
((((Hug))))

There are loads of people on TA with great music taste, which is why I spend so much time here. I'm not going to fill up the page with names, because it's not big or clever to name drop but I always have respect for those guys who love the 90s prog like I do, and you know who you are.
Corey is da man
I've found great influence from many people here over the years. To mention some of the biggest..

Mr.Mystery
UKTA Radio DJs from 2003-date
I don't agree with all of their tastes, infact montana & myself often disagree, but I r espect those guys who immerse themselves in music as much as I do (and in many cases more so) and who have an open mind to genres. I could easily add another 20-30 peoples names but it'd then turn into naming anyone i'd ever agreed with on one tune

I'm pretty sure the people who I think have good taste (and that doesn't necessarily mean they like all the same stuff I do) know who they are.
They're the ones with whom I have the best musical discussions.

All the guys with whom i had extensive musical discussions here and...
hello SMC
Judging from what I nab from the DJ Promo forum:
Sunsurge
MoN-SooN
Metatron
Andy_freak
Those come to mind, but I'm sure there are several more.
nefardec
system-j
rebel9
MrJiveBoJingles
I'm sure there are others
A lot of the everyday posters here are non-trance, and though I have tried, and repeatedly failed to get myself acquainted with the music they listen to and play out and mix and buy, I respect the fact that they are knowledgeable, take time and effort out to find the music they love, are generally aware and up to date with the scene.
I do not listen to any of the music they play, but they are EDM lovers, and that's what ultimately counts.
I just wish they wouldn't look down or be shocked or amazed at other's choices, because even though a lot of you guys keep saying taste is subjective, you don't really mean it, or atleast it doesn't come across as such in their posts.
forgot two:
Cobalt (for blitzing my ID contests & being somewhat of a vintage progtance shamen)
MichaelBoogerd! (for being about the only other tiesto fan on here with a brain
)
i wouldn't class it as namedropping per se. no more so than listing favourite producers

I don't respect/disrespect someone based on their taste in music. It's more a matter of just seeing all the different types of genres that people are in to.
