Fully understood and agreed.
Rich Franklin is the UFC equivalent of the San Antonio Spurs...if they only won 46 games per year.
HOLY FUCK
FUCK. That really looked like we were going to see a long battle. Vitor looked like he actually had his number, and then BAM. What the fuck?!

Damn. I wish that could have kept going. Hell, Vitor was winning. First time I've seen somebody refuse to play Silva's game.
Really a shame it had to end so early with one unexpected kick.
Unbelievable. Anderson is no joke, despite how everyone feels about him. I hope the GSP fight comes to fruition!
Phfft, Anderson always has a plan, vigor was nowhere near winning
Whoop.
He was ahead in points. That's all I meant. Anderson had failed to either take complete control or to goad Vitor into getting impatient and stupid. By halfway through round 1, he usually accomplishes one of the two.
I was thinking about the judging halfway through. I did have belfort winning only because he landed 2 kicks.
Hardy har.
Two unbelievable moments tonight, and an added bonus with Cerrone's "fuck you" to a cheating Paul Kelly. I'm well satisfied!
Joe rogan is talking about gifs. I think that's my cue to turn this off.
This is what you should be watching anyway. Post Fight Presser!

It all makes sense now...
1. Jon Jones has made a fan out of me. Shogun fight should be ace.
2. GSP versus Silva is so damn interesting. Not 100% sure the smaller GSP can handle the size difference, but nobody is. Either way, I'm excited as all hell, so Shields better not upset.

Originally said by Chael Sonnen Thank you, Anderson, for revealing yet another weakness for me to exploit in our rematch,” Sonnen said, or emailed as it seems. “Beating that poor punching bag doesn't impress Uncle Chael, guy. You tipped your hand like a chump poker player at a $5 table in Atlantic City. You may have beaten Vitor, but in the process, you LOST your edge. By beating that husk, you gave me the last page of your playbook. Revel in your time, (because) it ENDS the night you face me. I will mow you down like autumn wheat, AGAIN. |
The Silva knockout was impressive. Everyone in the room went nuts after that happened.

The catch weight fight would be interesting...i can see st pierre just working the jab until he sees an opening to take him down...the problem with this fight is that it will most likely be boring. When Silva fights primo opposition he does not take chances and is the most boring fighter in the UFC. They are both "counter move" fighters...so unless one goes on the offensive, i can see 5 rounds of a lot of nothing happening.

Silva only has a 1" reach advantage on GSP. Wouldn't have gussed that.
