does anyone know of any after-hours clubs that would be good to go to? we're going to try berghain but have heard the door policy can be tough, and would like a plan B just in case!

he basically released no sets for 2 years other than the 1 hour set from amnesia in 2010 and 1 hour multi-segment release from 2011 at amnesia. ADE 2010 and Transmission 2010 were broadcast without pauls permission.

His image has outright SUFFERED because of it. His CD's dont show his potential fans how much fun you could have if you went out to a show

You are perfectly right about CDs! His "evolution" looks to me a complete degradation.
That was absolutely not right decision to prohibit the broadcasts of his live sets.

it was all about his new stuff. finally the album is out so his MAYDAY was broadcasted. for his ibiza set it was the first time he cut the broadcast himself.

nowadays I can easily isolate tracks via ableton and logic
out of a set and play them myself in my sets or someone else could upload these files to the net etc.
he's not stupid

Here's how i rated the tracks :

5 stars ---> 3 tracks
4 stars ---> 3 tracks
3 stars ---> 5 tracks
2 stars ---> 0 tracks
1 star ----> 4 tracks

The 5 star tracks truly are super (The Ocean, The Sun After Heartbreak, & Dae Yor).

But i really hated the "trouse" crap included

i absolutly agree with mark and paul...today music piracy is not a "small" thing...the producers and djs work hard for theire music, so its absolutly legal to prohibit live recordings...and btw...paul is absolutly my fav...his mixing skills are amazing, even he uses samples and his xone4d and his ableton setup. his ideas how to mix a track with another bassline....mashups on the fly ;-) mixing just two tracks in each other....you could learn it in 3 hours...
but finding the right tracks and blow them up with other elements....thats a league of their own !

btw mark: do you know the un-id'd tracks of his mayday set??

es wird aber nicht alles übertragen, so wie es scheint. 1h paul, dann 1 1/2h ummet und dann nochmal paul.

Old times , warm up set by PvD was always his best so far sounds great!
