anyone here have experience scanning in 35mm or med format b/w negatives for print? My darkroom is not up and running yet and i am getting impatient. I have an Epson v500 photo scanner, just not sure how to optimize the quality.

I have no idea but I've thought about getting a film scanner for a long time. There are a bunch of preserved negatives from my dead uncle (killed himself when he was in his 20s) that I'd like to digitally preserve and make some new prints of (he was pretty talented).
Also like to preserve all the negatives from the photos of my parents took of my brother and I and the rest of our family growing up.

light painting can be traced back as late as the 1890s with Étienne-Jules Marey and Georges Demeny, although my favorites are by far photographed by David Lebe, Man Ray falls in second but i prefer a lot of his other works
hahah i guess my associates of art history with an emphasis on photography is more useful then i thought, especially when trying to find inspiration

Weather is nice today, think I need to go wander around and shoot some photos. Going to stop by the camera shop and get a step-down ring too for my telephoto.

I call bullshit.
have you ever really tried to graf in a house? You'll wind up dead from the fumes. I am not even kidding. You never had a graffiti wall unless you used magic marker which in that case was tagging and not actually graffing.
you are talking to a guy who graffiti'd for close to 7 yrs of his life.

No she did... The fumes might actually explain some stuff though now that I think about it...

you get 100 points if you tell me the name of a British 80s New Wave band that used the work of bill brandt for one of their album covers. Perhaps their most succesful, i've completely forgot the name of it.
