I was thinking the exact same thing.
Never bothered putting up pics of the xone i bought in september..
Faderfox DX2 was what i gave myself for christmas
I'm quite happy with my setup now (traktor techs xone92 and faderfox).. should be a while before i change anything.

The HD-25-1 II. The bass output is actually terrible on the current setup. It was first a sound system turned DJ area. The lowest the tube amps can output is 50hz so it doesnt have nice low end sound. I might have to pick up a separate amp to power the speakers, but i dont get complaints from neighbors because the bass doesnt really bother them.
Next upgrade is a new mixer and maybe an efx-1000. The DJM400 is actually not mine haha.

are those horns on top of those jbls speakers? they look larger than anything I have seen. don't you think a simple krk monitor set-up wouldv'e sufficed for home use?

Dope. I've never understood the need or purpose of a headphone stand like that. It looks like it would just get in the more than anything.

Back when i was a headphone freak, it would hang my audio tech ath900s, But yeah it totally gets in the way. I throw them over on the couch whenever i practice and put it back up when im done. The stand is originally for bananas anyways . When people are sleeping i use some cheapo m-audio studiophile v30s and a klipsch media ultra sub in my room.
Next, im either going to build a coffin or build a desk to house the cdjs. They are going to be built sometime in the future, but school and work is killing me.

Yeah they are horns. I was hesitant to connect my setup to my speakers at first but i just said fuck it. Theres a good amount of feedback coming from the mixer though so it looks like i should invest it a good set of cables.
