Well for consistency I might hide the box for the landscape view as well. And the clock occupying the options (top left) and manage connections (top right) hotspots that are native to the Zen theme is a bit of a nuisance that I might recommend addressing.
And since I've installed QuickLaunch and StormStat (which I'm going to upgrade to Meterberry), those two are popular hotspots in 3rd party themes, so if you could integrate those and make everything else except the tightly adjacent clock region to be the App List hotspot, the theme would be more than formidable.
I'm like...so confused....this stuff is really easy to configure so if you want a completely custom homescreen with a mix of Today and Zen items (placed anywhere on the screen randomly too), it's possible
if you want, do a rough sketch (maybe on MS paint) of the changes and send me, I'll customize it for you. I'm rather happy with the way it is for me now (except due to font restrictions I messed up the NTWK part and it's cut so i have to fix that in a bit)
I don't know how extensively you used this theme but it seems to be much smoother than even the native zen them..switching between portrait and landscape is so instant and option scrolls are a breeze (can even swith them to fades or blinds etc)

I got an unlocked storm 2 from verizon. I know they removed the call forwarding feature from the menus, so now you have to dial *72 and then the number or some bs to get the call forwarding.
Anyone know how to bypass this, ie. my sim card is with rogers so the *72 etc doesn't work.

Call Forwarding:
Due to the difference in length between Canadian phone numbers (7-10 digits) and overseas phone numbers, Rogers Wireless does not allow call forward to any overseas country.
The primary method of activating calling features is via phone menus. Consult the manufacturer's user guide for each phone model.
With GSM phones, no recording will be heard to confirm activation/deactivation, only a written message on the screen
To change the existing or active destination of call forwarding, you must first cancel the existing forward and activate call forward again with the new destination phone number.
International standard feature codes can also be used:
Activate * 21* [phone number] # SEND
Cancel # 21 # SEND
Status * # 21 # SEND

Ur gonna have to reload the software... where you're going to find 5.0SW fir the STRM2 that has not already had that disabled by VZW...dunno, maybe try VODAFONE UK?

The voda should have forwarding item enabled in the call menu, since I had storm 1 voda, and the option was there. However, the *21 that LKD mentioned works, since it's a network command.

I'm impressed. That's a pretty good bang for the buck.
If I was to tailor that to my needs, it would be:
- 1 GB data
- unlimited in/out texts
- 300 daytime mins
- 100 in/out international minutes.
- unlimited incoming calls(within Canada)
- Voicemail with no msg limits
- Caller ID, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting.
All for maybe $120?
alright so this is what I managed to get:
- 1 GB data
- unlimited in/out text
- unlimited Rogers/Fido network calling
- 200 mins + 50, free evening weekend @ 9pm-8am though
- voicemail
- Caller ID, call waiting.
$ 78 tax in

I'm not sure if Rogers will still do this but you used to be able to pay a dollar extra per hour to start evening calling earlier...maybe something to try...

I did try but no dice, it's part of some plan. Meh, I'm happy with what I got
