it pains me to say it, given Paxahau's track record at providing us festival-goers a top notch event each year, but the piss poor sound at the main bowl Monday night really put a damper on enjoying great sets by Loco Dice and Coxy, same for some of Digweed the night before. that being said, they get a mulligan this time because I usually end each festival feeling spoiled, having enjoyed the whole experience at incredible value every year.

also, Maceo Plex is on another level from his peers, IMO. like, not even close.

ya, seemed like it was just a problem isolated to the main bowl. the sound at the Moog Stage on the other hand, whooooa. echos of DJ Snake and Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What" were effectively drowning out my pleas from the main bowl to Turn Up(The Volume)For Dice. a Dad somewhere laughed, I told myself.

Ditto to all of that. We ended up moving to Made in Detroit after part of Coxy vs. Loco b/c we couldn't take it anymore. It sounded like farts.

I was told it was sorted out by the last 30 mins of Coxy but by then I was already making my way to The Coney Island Stage. some questionable sound issues were overheard at the bathrooms there as well.
