We're getting another strong cold front. I just looked at the local weather stations on Weather Underground, and there was nearly a 20F difference in a couple of local stations only 5 miles apart. Crazy, yo!

Been sick all week with a particularly nasty case of the flu. Finally getting over it - an occasion which shall be celebrated with some Scotch and breakbeats.

That's a helluva combo! I've not picked up any Scotch for a while. I got a fifth of Buffalo Trace bourbon from 2 different coworkers this year, so I am still working on those. It's a damned fine entry-level bourbon if you can dig a little bourbon from time to time.

No worries. Hell, if any two cultures know about making/consuming alcohol, it's the aforementioned and the Irish!

Can't complain too much about the weather here. Looks like days are getting longer again.

Crazy week for my friend at the left. Since he gave up chasing labels as they didn't listen or didn't keep promises he put tracks on his soundcloud for free. But in the weeks before new year I thought some tracks just were too good to stay sort of hidden. A trance promoter I follow also works for a small new label and asked this week if there were producers with a different sound. So I sent the most uplifting track and asked if this was something they would like. First I got a message back that they liked the track and wanted to release it and before I even could get in touch with him they told me they wanted to release all tracks as an album.
So he was quite surprised when I called him out of the blue and told him he could release an album if he wanted.

Yeah.. Genuinely surprising.

Trying to destroy all leftover booze from christmas. I'm very drunk at this point and there's still some mint-flavoured liquor and red wine to get rid of. The mint one is amazing in _cold_ cocoa. A lifetime favorite of mine.

I've been the gym and then come home and drank 4 pints of beer and eaten a 1000 calories of junk food.

Alternating between Mich Ultra (I know, I know) and Buffalo Trace bourbon. We've gone from about 60F to 17F in a 12 hour period with some light snow/sleet. That'll wake you up in the morning, boys!

Listening to Spike/Sunsurge's latest Windmill Sessions from the DJ Promo forum and trying to stay awake...

So who missed TA today?
No TA this morning, so I thought it was time to ask Del what was going on at 18:00 here. He just forgot to restart the database yesterday, that was all. LOL.
