Everyone has problems if they can sit there and think about every conceivable thing that could go wrong.
I don't really think things will go wrong, actually. I just think things will go. And go. And go. And I will watch them.

The book is on the table -> Книга на столе (Kniga na stole)
Kniga = book
Na = on
Stol = table
-е = Locative
You see, every word in Russian has a different form depending on their position in the sentence:
I read the book -> Я читаю книгу (Ya chitayu knigu)
Ya = I
Chitayu = (I) read
Knigu = book, as the object
See? I'm sure this can shake up your brain

I am seriously considering pills these days. Of the legal sort. Three cheers for chemical solutions.
But I wonder what happens if I take one and it does nothing. Then try another and that does nothing, too. And then another and another. Probably everyone wonders that. And then the pills actually do something to their brain, because really "they" are just a gooey lump of chemicals that can be pushed around and remolded by the inventions of Pfizer and Merck like anyone else. Would probably be just what happened to me, too.

Okay, maybe Russian was a bad idea. I think we need something even more random here.
Where do you live, Brian? I mean, how far from your hometown do you live? Were you like that before you moved out?

I live quite a way from my hometown. And yes, I was like this before I moved out, although probably not as often.

Hmmm, might be a bit personal, but how many people do you have close to you? Like close friends, girlfriend, family, etc. I know when I'm going through my bouts of depression and anxiety it helps tremendously to be around those I'm close to.

I see. Hmm... you don't really hang out with anyone except your girlfriend, do you? Ever thought of going to therapy?
I know it may sound like "Hey, Lira thinks I'm crazy" but it's not as bad as it sounds. My mum is a psychologist herself and, needless to say, I've gone to therapy a couple of times in my life. In philosophical terms, it'll put some intentionality back in your general sadness/ennui/apathy, and it becomes a lot easier to tackle what's bothering you if you know what it is.

I have been to therapy quite a few times. It seemed to make me feel better on the day I went, but that was pretty much it.
