Damn right. And for $15K I'd want it trained to kill on my commend, too!

Yeah no joke. Evidently the first generation Savannah (half serval/half regular) is incredibly difficult to produce. Servals and servals will fuck all day but they are extremely picky about mates that are different breeds. So a breeder may think he/she has the perfect pairing and the serval will be like, "fuck you, not interested." Then the males (savannahs) are sterile until they are 5th generation and watered down as hell. Breeders are trying to mostly mate serval with a few different domestics (Egyptian Mau, 1st-5th generation female savannahs with a male serval, and sometimes male serval + female bengal).
Plus, most breeders only offer 2nd generation and beyond... which is fine because they're still big and sweet, but only 10 breeders in the world produce true legit F1 Savannahs. Hence the expense.

If you can afford it then by all means... I would.
What's the life expectancy of the Savannah's?.. I'd hope they don't die while you're still paying for it.

lol... what's cool is they can live to 20 years or so. I guess the average though is 15 years.
If I could pay monthly or something, I'd be cool with it... it would be like a cheap car payment. But to drop a 1 time lump sum of $15K is not very conducive to good decision making in today's economy. Fuck!

Well if you can finance plastic surgery, you should be able to finance a cat, imo. Tell that to the breeder!

Also, it could potentially eat your face, and the faces of any children you may decide to have
