Congrats on your job! What is it that you do?

The highs are constant throughout the year (26-27C), but the difference is that it's rainy in the summer (and the lows are around 17C) and it's dry in the winter (so the lows can reach a minimum of about 9~8C).
And we do just fine with two seasons
Yeah, well at 3am it's about 10C too, in the winter
Conversely, our summer days are usually around 31-35C and super-humid.

I move boxes around, cut them open, and put the contents on shelves in a large store.

Yeah, it doesn't get this hot here... we're too far from the Ocean. And it's too dry in the winter. I bet I'd feel like home if I ever visited Xeno and his goats in the outback

Sound entertaining if you can do that listening to an mp3 player

Last I heard, Xeno moved to Adelaide.

Because you haven't had the opportunity to buy one or because you just don't want one?

The first, sort of. I shouldn't be spending money, given my prospects for future income.

Well, I was thinking of shipping one to the US, but the postal service here is too bureaucratic. I once tried to send Sunsnail some drinks and the fees were just absurd.
But, yeah, you could ask them for one. Listening to music is awesome to cheer you up when you're feeling down, and you can always listen to lectures/audiobooks when you feel like thinking for a while
