haha, that's what I get for being at work and writing that post a little bit at a time while constantly being interrupted. It's good that our posts agree though, otherwise we'd really confuse him

Firstly, IntegraR0064, Demoted and june139 - Thank you all.

I think I am going to with the stuff you guys suggested. I looked up on ebay for these products and here are the costs I am getting:

1x Stanton Pro DJ 3000s - $100.
1x Numark DXM 06 - $115 ... This is used but in good condition according to the seller.
2x Pioneer CDJ 200's ~ $300 x2 = $600

Are these prices good. I am getting all of these from ebay. The pioneers are killing me, lol and you need 2 of them - holyshit..

I have pretty sweet Logitech speakers with my computer so I dun need the Alesis Monitor 1 MKII you guys were talking about.

Btw, whats the diff. between monitors and speakers??

So what do you guys feel about this?

This should be an interesting investment...

Monitors usually face the dj, so you can tell them apart by that in the club.

Oh okie, so I guess my speakers will be fine. As far as I am concerned my current speakers = monitors.

i'd suggest the Sony MDR-V6 or MDR-7506 headphones (one or the other, they are the same). So many people here use them its not funny (myself included), they all recommend them for they are a great headphone, and I think you can get them cheaper than $100.

Music is as universal to people as breathing. We've probably been at it since before we even started talking. Immaging two cavemen smashing away at a peace of flint to make a spearhead. It wouldn't take long for them to learn te synchronise the sound. And there you have it, the words first percussive band.

Music has survived wars, famines, the plague and many other things and has evolved with man across many cultures. Dance music is just the next step in the evolutionary chain. My guess is that it will probably be with us untill we are extinced.

I bought It atDänisches Bettenlager.
You can store nearly 600 Vinyls in it and it´s very solid.
And after all I like the wood design and the set fits perfect on it.
