I've been following this series since you started it. I rarely listen to DnB, and that's partly why I find these mixes so refreshing. It's something different for me - easy listening. Good work!

BTW, your voice sounded cool in the earlier episodes. It added an authentic touch to the series. I hate when a DJ talks at different points in a mix, but I think it's fine at the start. It's a nice way to introduce it and set the vibe.

Really enjoying this series, each episode is great. Great flow, mixing always on point, and track selection is gorgeous. Looking forward to future ones

Thank you very much for the kind words. Maybe I'll work my voice into later episodes, thanks again! I also detest when I hear a DJ just having a conversation throughout the mix... but an intro is good, it sets the tone. Maybe in the future then

Hey there... many thanks for the comments, even though I am only responding several months later You seem to be one of the dedicated listeners here so I can't say how much I appreciate your comments and the fact you enjoy this series.

Life got a little busy, and since I was focusing on getting my 12 hour marathon set finished through March to the beginning of the summer, I hung up the DJ headphones for a while until I felt good enough to start DJing again hehe.

Revelations 009

A little apology first on the no-mix situation since February 2019. After I got the eighth session released, I focused on getting my 12-hour marathon set done, which took me way too long to prepare as I had so many ideas. If you want a listen to that head on over the TA DJ Challenge Series thread. Anyways, it took me several months but I finally got it done, after which time I was a bit tired of DJing and hung up my DJ headphones for some time.

I finally got back into the swing of things here and I think with the cooler weather as well, I will be a bit more productive around the house instead of being outside for the summer. I'm hoping to have many more regular sessions, hopefully monthly, as we move forward into the end of the 2019 year. Enjoy this one, the ninth session! I have a nice surprise planned for the 10th mix to mark the occasion, but you'll just have to wait...

Revelations 010

Here it is - the 10th edition of Revelations! Long story short, my computer suddenly died last year so I was unable to record anything. I did end up buying parts for a new one and assembled it, but then got extremely busy with job searching. Now that I am finally settled down, it was time to start up this series again.

The big surprise I mentioned for the 10th episode was an all-vinyl mix, but that's going to have to wait. I still have a few more records in my shopping crate that I have yet to receive, so I am waiting patiently for those.

In the meantime, the 10th episode is 2 hours long. As you'll see from the tracklist, I relied heavily on a couple of releases, namely the 20 Years Dead Metropolis compilation and Silence Groove's Motions EP, which I was thoroughly enjoying near the end of last year. I really wanted to use them in a mix so I do hope for the tracklist hunters out there, it won't come across as too lazy. In addition, the beginning is a little rough, but believe me it gets better.
