knoxy500 - how do you like that Evolution X-Session box that is in your picture?. I've had one about 2 years, like it a lot, but one of the pots (knobs) is getting erratic at the top of the range. I guess I should figure out if the pot can be sprayed with cleaner fluid.

Nice setup est, what slipmats are you using, they're looking pretty black to me
A nice slipmat is just the finishing touch

Youre right - sexy slipmats and sweet headphones are all i need now! Unfortunately that won't be happening soon as this mixer has left me broke for the next couple of months :P Need to do something about that mess of cables too.
Anyway, here's another pic, this time with monitors and laptop...

Yeah ive had the x session since October last year, Working fine so far, seemless in fact. I dont use the crossfader tho, i use my own hardware mixer for that. Just linked 3 pairs of stereo lines from my soundcard into the mixer. Gives it just that bit more hands on feel

Im just starting to get my feet wet on the production side ( My buddy wanted to partner up).....but I got a ton of good stuff to work with.
Got a pretty good crash course on it this last weekend.
I still have a lot to learn on these but the potential is there.

For anyone who say my posts about the laptop or cdjs.
Its looks like im getting the best of both worlds.
Selling two old laptops, current pc + abit of money from parents = spankin new laptop for producing and djing.
Leaves me with money for cdj and or midikeyboard/synth.
Freak, when are you posting your updated studio/djbooth?
Interested to see how those 3 cdj1000s are going.
