Started learning German this week. Omg the verbs look super easy compared to Romance languages. But learning an inflected language should be interesting.

I once forgot my room number at a German hotel. I asked the front desk if he could tell me but the idiot kept telling me nine for some reason despite the fact I know it wasn't correct.

I'm sure you'll find it easier than, say, French. German is fun. Dutch is super fun. And Danish is just terrifying. It's the one language I know in which a word can be spelled "Speciallægepraksisplanlægningsstabiliseringsperiode" but can be pronounced "Dave"

mit nach bei seit von zu aus außer entgegen gegenüber
