I still think the East is Philly's to lose.
That being said if I had to choose a final today it would be Washington vs Detroit. (San Jose is really hot right now, but yeah they have always choked).
Washington is winning with defense right now, which is a really really scary thing considering the firepower they have. Detroit, well what can I say other than they might be the best team in hockey even if their record is not the best.
imo
Boston = Over rated. Thomas, Rask, Chara, Lucic, have always been the biggest chokers ever come playoff time except for......
The Canucks. I like them and they have the best shot of bringing a cup home to Canada in a long time. That bbeing said I will believe it when i see it, because they have been in this position before and failed miserably (more than once).
Teams people don't want to play right now:
East:
Buffalo (Philly isn't scared, but i know none of the other top seeds want to play these guys). As much as I've slated the Sabres, the way they have been playing the last few weeks is with purpose. The Sabres are not winning shit all this year, but if a lower seed pulls an upset I can see Ryan Miller being behind it.
West:
Nashville. Yeah, you think I'm crazy right? Nope, probably one of the most underrated teams in the NHL right now. No stars, just good team play and a good goalie.

Tyler Biggs may be appropriately named, afterall, he is a 17-year-old bohemoth at 6-foot-3 and over 200lbs., and he also is a big time player that comes through in big games. Need proof? Well he scored the gold medal winner in Team USA’s win over Team Ontario in this years World U-17’s, and finished the tourney with 6 points (5G,1A) in 6 games. This season, while playing with the Team USA Juniors in the USHL, he collected 11 points (6G,5A) to go with 54 penalty minutes in 24 games. Not bad for a then 16-year-old playing against older competition. Last season he suited up for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, and put up 40 goals and 86 points in 72 games. Biggs is committed to play collegiate hockey at Miami University, which means Redhawk fans have even more to cheer about after their Frozen Four appearence this past year. He is a pure power forward, with soft hands, good foot speed, drives to the net well and uses his size and strength to his advantage. Biggs has great hockey sense, something passed down by his father (Don) who was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars, and had a great minor league career. He truly has untapped potential, that NHL scouts will be drooling over come next year.
