Let's do this.
Funny thing, is they only have one album together from 1998! So I think we will get lots of their solo stuff, with each of them jumping in.
Since rappers like to make surprise appearances, I am going to say Common is going to jump on stage. No sources, just a hope/hunch.

because all he ever raps about is saving fuckin girls. like how many girls can this mother****** save??? and all I see is insecure women posting his lyrics all over my fuckin bb, facebook and twitter. It's like once a month they just flash that motherfuckin vagina spotlight up on the clouds and wait for drizzy to slide down a rainbow with a cape on his back and a tote bag full of sweaters he just finished crocheting to come save their asses.
Honestly this was the softest hip hop album I have ever heard. Im pretty sure that drake gets up in the morning and plays his harp for his cats, slides down the muthafuckin banister in his satin man nightie and has a full glass of breast milk before he goes to the studio to hammer out some pooned out shit like this.

to be fair, he's always been more on the r&b slowjamz tip... the "So Far Gone" mixtape (which is my fav) is actually much "softer"
but the tracks on "Take Care" are drawn out and the hooks are shit... like so boring
the best part of the whole cd is the Kendrick Lamar verse on the new 8min version of Marvin's Room

My friend's new track. These guys are coming up with some of the freshest hip hop I've heard in this town. Three young guys with plenty of potential. Good vibes all around.

Their *bandcamp* site. Downloads are available on a 'name your price' basis.
sounds way too oldschool. not that thats a bad thing but it sounds like a 1996 demo tape...That's a little too underground for my liking these days. In 1996 i probably would have dug it though

I hear ya dude. I just feel like its played out now. He's jsut way to predictable nowadays. I feel I can write a drake verse: just add alot of ahhh's after each line, add in a rhymne where it, pauses then ends in a noun ie, "new rappers record and play me back, tivo", talk about some insecure shit like "i check her text messages while shes in the bathroom, i hide it quickly i can hear her comin back soon ahhhh" then step a lil closer to the microphone so your lips are almost touching it and whisper sing your next line. He did totally up his poon sound though on this album. The most annoying thing is when he goes into singing every 2nd track. Or runs his pick up game like I did when I was 19 yrs old, telling girls they are so hot when they wake up in the morning and stil have crust in their eyes (insecure women love these lines) or his bullshit lines where he compares himself to pac or biggie and wonders if theyd make it in this rap era......im like for real!?
anyways Kendrick lamar's verse was not only amazing but he is the best thing to happen to rap since Kanye and 50 had that album battle where Kanye destroyed him in sales and we never had to hear much of 50 cent again.

Which is a shame because hard hitting Drake is pretty damn good. Well, as good as hip hop can get anyways.

So I've heard. I can't name more than 2 or 3 songs by Drake. For someone who knows very little about his sound, which mixtape(s) would you recommend in order to make the best impression on a new listener? The rest of you (e.g. JJ) can feel free weigh in too.

Haha what bullshit! I'd never say that to a woman.
