i got my pair of brand new KRK V6's for $500 at my local guitar center last year, which was about $200 cheaper than their normal price at the time.

lol, actually I use it to give the vinyl a little blast before I play each record. That and a little Gruv Glide seems to do a tremendous job of keeping the wax tip top. Keeps the styli cleaner, too, I've found.
I might have to try your theory, though.

Careful with the Gruv Glide its not ment to be used on your records every time. Read the can its suposed to be a one time treatment. If you use it every time you'll wear away your records. For every day cleaning use some rubbing alchol mixed with distilled water. Its alot cheeper, and it won't kill your records.

I typically clean about once every six months, but I appreciate the advice. I will have to give it a try.

Cool, no problem, i was just checking. I had a friend once who killed some records buy using it to often. I don't want to see it happen to any one else.
