Tim Robert - Headlands 3rd Anniversary w/Shane on Pure.FM Progressive
For the third anniversay show of Headlands, I'm very excited to present a guest mix
by German DJ/Producer and Jetlag Digital label owner Shane. I had the pleasure of
meeting Shane in person last month when he came to NYC and we played together
at my Launch Angle Record Release Party, and I'm happy to report that not only did
Shane play a killer live set, but he is a super nice guy.
Be sure to tune in to Pure.FM Progressive Channel to join Shane and me for two hours
of dynamic progressive house: http://www.pure.fm

Over the past 17 years, German DJ/Producer Shane has claimed a respected place
in the international progressive house scene. Through the unique sound of his productions,
the quality releases of his label Jetlag Digital, and DJ sets from Shanghai to Dubai, Shane
has always striven to push boundaries and deliver fresh and exciting dance music for a
worldwide audience.
Born 1976 in Germany, Shane started his DJ career at the age of 16. In the early 2000's,
Shane seized the opportunity to showcase his skills on some of the bigger venues in
Europe and on Ibiza, and in 2005 Shane became a resident DJ of one of the largest clubs
in Asia, the Viproom in Shanghai, China. The Shanghai residency became a springboard
to a series of tours in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
Driven by the urge to expose a variety of new sounds to the progressive scene, Shane founded
the Jetlag Digital label in 2008, and a host of successful releases from a great stable of artists
followed. Shane's own discography includes original tracks and remixes on labels such as
Plusquam Records, Future Lovers and Ocean Drive Records, and collaborations with artists
such as Michael & Levan, Embliss and DJ Taucher. In October 2010, Shane released his first
artist album, titled Departure, which included "True", a collaboration with Oliver Morgenroth
that received support from the likes of Markus Schulz, Armin Van Buren, Jerome Isma-AE, Pole
Folder and many more.

FEED THE RAVER - Episode 9 - Monktec - (Boston, USA)
Your host, Craft:
Hi everyone! Welcome to episode 9 of Feed the Raver podcast with me your host Craft.
Two weeks ago we were at the 2012 Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit.
Feed the Raver covered it and you can find videos and interviews with artists on our website, www.feedtheraver.com coming soon!
This week we have Monktec on the Show. He is an amazing producer we met thru Soundcloud last year. Since then, I have collaborated on several labels and we often remix our tracks. Next releases include his remix of my "Brooklyn Beautiful" track to be released on June 25th on Subtrak Records, as well as his remix of my "Poser Politics" track to be released on Freitag Limited. He will be performing with us at Twice as Proper National Underground in New York City on July 20th 2012 along with our Detroit Guest, Asher Perkins.
Monktec is based in Boston and has releases on many great techno labels. His other musical project named Moloc is a more deep and experimental ambient dark techno.
Check out his interview, Bio and links on www.feedtheraver.com

I create darkness for fun...
Born and raised in Boston, Ma. Jason Donnaruma (aka monktec) discovered electronic music in his early twenties. After strictly DJing for a few years, he took the next logical step by beginning to produce his own music . Monktec focused his attention on percussive programming, dubby basslines, and ultra dark atmospheres and with years of dedication He has formulated his on unique sound. Monktec's sets are just like his productions heavy dark and to the point.
