This is the only place open within like a 5 Mile Radius besides like, Coney's. And of course: Lafayette Coney Island is a must, if you don't know already, then you need to learn! If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Check this year's thread for advice on hotels, the link is above. I booked a suite @ the Courtyard in January for this year @ 200/night, it's across the street and a block over from Hart Plaza, super convenient, even more than the Renaissance which is on the same side of the festival site.

I don't know what to tell you about flying to Detroit, I've driven both times and loved it that way, no baggage fees and not that long a drive if going with several people. Plus I love road trips

I'm in for a road trip this year- one way though bc my ass is jumping on a plane back!

I stayed at the doubletree 2 yrs ago and really enjoyed it there but I'll be looking at staying at the marriot this year, perhaps. grrr I want my invite email already!!
