Masturbating is natural, your body knows it isn't sex and doesn't treat it as such.

Well it's common knowledge that babies do it in the womb so I think it's safe to assume it's natural. Also I've definitely heard that it doesn't release quite the same reward chemicals as sex.

speaking from my own personal experience.

what this guy is saying is truth, and im pretty sure most guys realize it at some point. all bashing aside let me just share some shit and you can either call me fucked up or whatever. i dont really care.

porn is addicting, quitting it is on par with smoking. don't believe me? try doing it yourself. it's extremely difficult. im 23 now and been watching it for years and many times over that period i have tried quitting. its lasted for various lengths (weeks to months) but in the end you always go back to it. whats worse is sometimes you get the self-realization of "this is getting to be too much" - what hit home in this video is the fact that most porn to me now is boring and i'll be on kinkier shit like extreme bondage and stuff and extremetube.com is the only place I'll get off really.

since my memory is shotty the few times i can recall i definitely noticed a lot of changes being off porn (more awake and sharp, not as OCD'ish, and just an overall feel good to yourself) was improved. my sexual life was improved too (harder erections/etc).

right now im going to try and quit just because i feel like it's getting worse. my performance is low and shit is just not feeling right. im sure my girlfriend notices ill go talk with her but i wouldn't be surprised.

like with anything you need to strike to find the right balance. with porn it is SO easy to go to that extreme and lose control just because of the accessibility and how easy it is to find. not to mention by nature we are turned on by shit like that so its even easier to fall habit to a bad addiction.

Oh, so long as you've definitively heard. For a second there I thought you were talking total shit.

Not sure how porn is addicting or even if you were addicted to it what the draw backs would be... Unless you literally could not go a moment with out viewing porn or something.

Why would anyone stop watching porn though, like altogether stop? It serves no purpose really to quit.

Do you stop masturbating too? I mean is that really what this is about? If its not, might as well say "stop watching tv, or reading books, or watching movies, or listening to music because they all dull the senses to those things if you were to do them yourself".

This whole argument just seems like a backdoor (lol) attempt to throw moral purity arguments on people (touching yourself is bad!).

Seriously I don't get this? Is it anti-masturbation or what? Because even if I didn't watch any porn I'd still wank it, hell I wank it with out porn quite often.

Saying people watch too much porn is equivalent to saying people masturbate too much, which is an argument as old as time.

Well I personally never found it addicting even when I was watching it heaps every day. I haven't watched any porn (not counting the time my friend practically forced me to) in at least 3 months.

I've never smoked but compared to the most addictive things I've done or not wanking every night it's insanely easy to quit.
