breakdown is a little long so i might shorten it, conscious of adding too much stuff to the track but does need more impact after the breakdown i think, thanks

Amazing mix Raphie, sounds solid as heck. Only 2 mild suggestions would be use a better more expensive sounding pluck in the break and if you want alter the timing of the bass as it's a little predictable but otherwise a good listen.

A NEW APPROACH FROM ME;

I'm on my work laptop, sound is not perfect but here goes.

The sounds at the start: quite a discomforting tension buildup (in a good way, it keeps my attention wanting more). As soon as bassline comes in it is nice. Nice rolling bass. After the break I would have expected an anti-climax instead of what is going on now. I would love to hear this peak moment with a deeper kick, the roaring rolling bass which you crafted in the break, and a big ass reverb/tail on that bassline instead of what is going on now which feels like a bit of a dissappointment. I feel this full on melodic stuff could be introduced later on after having such a banging moment.

The mix overal seems a bit harsh on the high end and the kick is rather boxy imo.

It is all nice, clean and minimal. I like how you keep it small but after a while I feel like I've heard it all and I start to lose my focus.

I can hear what Matthijs is referring to (and I agree with) - to me the most important and not yet full develop part, which is missing from this production, is this melodic development, seems to me your melody never get to the point of fully develop stage-> I would like to hear some crafty pluck comes with sweet and crafty melodic motif at some point. Also I would like to have a bit more dynamics in this track with (Matthijs mention this already) undercut high/mid-high freq level a bit more.

Cheers man and I got to say that this is to me the most attractive work from you so far

On the mix site I think that you hit the sweet spot man, very well control freq in this production. As far as the style and attractiveness of it lol - you probably know by now that this is not what I would normally listen to but I really appreciate quality of your work man

The kick and the bass feels a little to shy, those percs steal from the show, to my ears they feel a little to intrusive xD. I was expecting something packed with more energy as a climax. Otherwise sounds like a promising tune. Definitely waiting for the final product ^^

I did feedback the other day but this site keeps logging me out, grr.

I think it's a pleasant well mixed track but it's not like Trap for me which tends to be very much cutting edge percs, bass and leads. For me any decent trap has to push the boundary, starting with some weird mangled leed perhaps made with a samples Human voice.

Still a nice track though.

Yeah I deffo take on board yours and other comments on the mix, I will do a dedicated mix session.

As to the drop - Storyteller I think wants it to be more minimal, built around that aggressive break bass. Are you saying you like the drop melodic but with more impact, or are you also thinking to go with a more minimal bass driven initial drop?

Trancelover - appreciate your feedback - when you say melody does not develop enough, can you please pin down what you mean - it's very hard trying to get a handle on someones advice, so the clearer you can make it, the better for me it is! So for example I noticed tracks on a recent A&B set did not get too overly melodic, but stuck with a core repeating plucky phrase. Do you not like this? You prefer lots of interplay and little side melodies yes?

Richard, this the part you should feel in your track, it is totally up to you man, I'm just telling this strictly from my personal perspective only, we all can give you technical pointers but style and melodic aspect of your production has to come from you and only you my friend, at this point I feel that with what you already have that you are not reaching your track climax point yet, it is like you are almost there but are missing this one small element -> closure; define your melody/c theme and work your way around it (incl playing it with different instruments: synth, pluck, piano etc.) - if this make any sense?
