Also, one of the first hi-res photos of the rover on Mars! This thing literally weighs a tonne!
Look at this image and the time noted, that's how fast the thing was travelling.... Mars became so huge!
Here is what they were projecting, and what actually happened. It's crazy to see how close and spot on they were to landing this thing there. It's the Estimate Landing Location Guide
And the final image or the rover with the parachute deployed. This image is probably more amazing to because it shows at this point (and after) that everything went to plan.
From the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) looking at Curiosity:
