she had to relocate in the end. Police wouldn't do anything for her in Montreal dispite having more than enough to get him locked up for years.
It got pretty out of hand.
She's much happier now and everything is working out well for her. Thanks for asking.
well at least she is happier, but that is BS that the cops wouldn't do anything about it!!!

I had 2 cats. I had to give them away and now I am not moving to the EU as quickly as I thought I would be. It has been put on hold until 2008 and I am kittyless.
I had them for 7 years

tell me about it. I had full intentions of taking the law into my own hands if the police would do anything.... grrrr. plus having to leave your job, home and city all because of this..... utter BS.
But yeah, she's %100 times happier now and she's living a good mutual friend of ours in Toronto now and her family is just 30 minutes outside TO.

It does suck. I didn't sleep seriously for a week after I gave them away. I was so traumatized. But, I now realize no more pets for me until I am more settled in my life. It is too painful to have to go through something like that again. It was just as bad as having to put a family pet down, if not worse cuz I felt like a mother abandoning her children.

Yeah, I know what you mean. You get so bonded to your pet, because they are always there. And once they are gone, you are left with a feeling of emptiness. It's horrible!
