I'll give this supersaw trend a maximum of 2 more years.

Let's wait and see. The trend indeed could go over, maybe should have been for some years. I agree it has become too much. But since I only select the tracks I like it doesn't affect me a lot. Could be my age and the fact that I'm not confronted with it as much as younger ta's probably are. Despite I like current trance, I certainly don't like all of it, but I'm convinced you have the same with goa. I like some goa too, just not as much as you.
I'm not surprised with the trend. Already had the feeling trance like this would become popular around 1996. I also see it a bit as replacement for the Culture Beat's and Capella's. However these were much more Euro style. I think it was the Taucher remix of Culture Beat's Pay No Mind which shows they were pretty close to nowadays trance. Guess I need to put that one at Youtube some time.

Someone mentioned Eurodance without rap, he should listen some more Eurodance, as also many don't have rap.

That fine, cause it wasn't meant to.

LOL, yes, there were tracks which are close to trance with some imagination, but most weren't and certainly not most of those had rap. Actually the once which were close maybe even didn't have rap at all e.g. Cappella, Sash! or 2Fabiola. Most of these are for the 3rd generation Eurodance.

The first generation indeed had a lot of rap and started around 1990.
2Unlimited, 2Brothers on the 4th floor, Twenty4Seven, M.C. Sar & the Real McCoy etc etc, but these don't give me any trance feelings at all.

But maybe you can give me some examples where I can clearly here some trance behind the rap, because I don't remember all tracks I listened to (but still a lot).
IMO you generalized a bit too much.

I think todays trance is 10 times closer to 1994 trance then Eurodance in general is to todays trance. But I do believe todays trance is sort of a replacement of Eurodance which probably is why it is so popular.

I would say that this eurodance track;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0M703prHw4

is closer to to this modern day trance track:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6Gt2D5mbrU

than it is to this trance track from 1994:

Good example, because that's one which indeed is closer to todays trance. It also happens to be one of the 3rd generation Eurodance. Milk Inc e.g. is too. But Eurodance is much older. But I can't recognize trance in these, which do have rap and are typical Eurodance too:

Fuck am I that old or you guys that young?

Yeah I know but what does that got to do with it? It's still eurodance and far more closer the typical ASOT stuff than the trance of the mid 90s. I remember all the early 90s eurodance since I listened to it myself when I was younger. I never associated it with trance back then. It was called eurodance and nothing else even back then.
