indeed. my thoughts exactly.
sebby, your friend is either very young or never had a girlfriend before. Nothing wrong with it though. I dunno about you, but I used to think about writing love letters when I was like 13-14 yrs old.. your mate will soon(er or later) realize that asking her in person is the way to go. |
LOL! His middle name is pussy! He's been around the block a couple hundred times. It's just that back then he didn't give a fuck. I'm sure at least some of us if not most of us out there had the guts to do whatever they wanted to when they were young.
But when you're an adult, things change. I guess he's going through a change in his life that limits his ability to do the things he used to do. I guess writing a hilarous (horrible to many of you)letter was his experiment to see what would happen. If she says yes, then good. If not, he didn't lose anything.
He'll just move on with his life. Don't get me wrong, he still goes up to girls and ask them out. It might be that things haven't been working out for him lately and he might have decided to do a different approach. Granted that the letter was horrible to some of you, but a few of you thought it was the way to go. Ashley may be the girl of the few. Isn't it better to try than not try at all.
I'll admit that for the last few years "I" have been single and haven't really asked a single girl out nor wrote a letter. I've always chickened out, and where did that lead me. You got it,...Nowhere! At least my friend Patrick is trying something here. As stupid as that letter may sound, there's always a chance that he'll get her. Advantage Patrick, Disadvantage Me!!!
I leave you with a quote that many of you may have heard before:
"The greater the risk, the greater the potential reward."

True. But why cutting down his chances by writing a letter instead of talking to her?

Same question. If he already asked girls.. it's kinda hard to believe he can't do it this time. In this case this "different aproach" is one step backwards.

It's strange that even if the majority of us find the letter terrible, you or your friend still sent it. btw, who gave it to the girl?
and yea, we're all curious to know about the girl's reply. so please keep us up to date.
